Language & Thinking is an intensive pedagogical program, taking place full-time over three weeks, in which students read extensively across genres and write to express thoughts, ideas and find their own voice in dialogue with peers and teachers, generate new forms and habits of (seriously but playfully) writing at university level, and make connections in between readings, fields, and forms of expression as part of their critical intellectual inquiry.
Teachers undergo an intensive training, organized by the Center for Learning and Teaching at Bard College, to build a pedagogical set of teaching practices, curricular strategies, and modes of classroom engagement.
